Yeah A-Rod is probably the one real exception imo. Otherwise most of the deals 8+ years have been pretty bad
he's a 250 hitter, yanks will sign him for big money, Nats are smarter than that
I was Ninja'd. Should have read down a bit..
Mondo, I think I'm going to mail your wallet back to you. All I found inside was a Diner's Club card. The fuck?Good point, Champ.
btw, keep your eyes on your wallet and pets, CSF is on the loose.
Yesterday, Bryce Harper informed the Washington Nationals that he wants a minimum 10 year, $400M contract when this contract is up in 2018. Should the Nats step up and give him an extension or a new contract for less than $40M a year? Where does it end? When does a league finally say 'NO". Players can't win games on their own, they need 8 other guys doing their job to be successful.
Is any player really worth $25,000 a game?
Hopefully the Cubs sign Bryant to a mega deal around $400 million. Gotta lock that dude down. Pay the man! Baez too. When Baez stares at balls he hits out of the box when he should be running to 1B, hell, that's worth $500 million alone. There is not a person on this planet that deserves that kind of money......Ihf he wants to make that type of moiney he can save for when he retires and buy himself a team.

Ill take Manny Machado in the same Free Agent class for $150 mill less
That's funny... he has a career .279 average.
118 strikeouts last year
he hit 243 with 118 strikeouts last year, you're supposed to get better, he's got Carl Crawford potential, maybe he'd be a good fit in Boston
To add to your point, Trout struck out 184 times during his first MVP season.85 players in 2016 struck out at least 118x, and there are many more that could've had that much if they played closer to a full season...in this current pitcher friendly era, 118 K's for an everyday player isn't a great amount.
