I think so.
No. Winning SB's mean very little when it comes to actual gauging a players ability. Brady could've won 10 SB's, and if his career numbers as they are now are the same with those 10 SB's, he'd still wouldn't be. If he had 0 SB's with his career numbers as is, he'd pretty much still be the exact same player to me.
Defense wins championships. In his Patriots career, Brady has enjoyed playing with 13 top ten defenses, although one of them was the Cassell year, so we'll give him twelve. Every time the Patriots/Brady won a Super Bowl, they had one of these top ten defenses.
On the other side of the spectrum, the Packers have only had two top ten defenses while Rodgers has been playing. And, yes, he won the Super Bowl one of those years. I wouldn't be surprised in the least that if Rodgers played with 13 top ten defenses in his career, he be considered the greatest by more people than he already is.

Don't know if you actually read my post, or just saw the word Cassell and went into full "defend" mode. But basically brushed Cassell aside rather than drawing attention to him. My only point was that the Patriots had twelve top ten defenses with Brady. Their worst defense was ranked 17th. Any elite QB could have Brady's success with that type of team backing him. Some...ahem, Rodgers...might even have more success. Just saying.6 AFC Championship games in a row. It's almost boring as a Pats fan. If he wins on Sunday he'll go to the SB nearly HALF THE MOTHERFUCKING YEARS HE'S BEEN IN THE LEAGUE.
When Tom's done I'm on to Jimmy or the next guy but do you realize how fucking pathetic you all sound? The Matt Cassell year is going on 10 years ago and you still cling to it.

He's arguably the GOAT now. We all know that's subjective. But if he gets his 5th ring he should be considered the GOAT by the majority of fans. We can argue stats from era to era. We can argue what defense's he's had or didn't have. We can bring up the multiple records he and NE have set with him behind center. We can argue it's the system.
What won't be argued is he'll have 5 rings. If he gets the MVP, forgetaboutit he's the GOAT for sure. If he plays terrible he'll still have 5 effin rings more than most franchises. All with one team in the salary cap era, that's sick.
Who is the GOAT?

Hmmm....don't see any reference to Matt Cassell in my post.
