Can we at least stop with the "Rodgers should be in the conversation" for this going forward?

No. He's the best QB today, has been for a while, and has shown enough for myself anyways that he's in the conversation.

Can't. I worked for Cal Poly SLO in 1970. Graduated from San Luis Obispo Senior High the following year. Met Johnny U (briefly) Earl Morrell, but my favorite was Bubba Smith - nicest guy I ever met. I got a ride home from 3 linemen after work in a caddy. Don't remember their names. My mother saw me drive up in a caddy with 3 big guys in suits - she started crying! I told her they were football players, she said "they all say that!"
I remember the locker room after practice - never seen that much tape in my life.....
How would I prove it? Show you a W-2 from 46 years ago?

Those were great Baltimore teams. In fact Johnny U was at the tail end of his career by then.

Montana never lost a SB.

Trent Dilfer never lost one either.

This is the most absurd slight I see from Montana huggers. Two more conference championship titles are a negative. It's simply nutz.

Best in the game, team has no chance if he isn't Superman, as we saw this past Sunday

Agreed on this year. That team was just decimated. However, in the previous 3 playoff losses that wasn't the case.

I could agree with that...Although it did take a pretty fluke onside kick recovery to prevent him from possibly going the distance that season

But in general, it seems he's one guy that is never picked up by his defense, his running game, or his coaching staff....If he has a sub-par day like Sunday, lights out, its typically not even a game

Yeah there are obviously a couple points at the end of that game that you can say cost him, but overall he had a piss poor game. If he plays better it doesn't come down to that. Big part of why it was close was because of his defense and running game.

And don't forget the fluky Jon Ryan TD pass too. We missed out on Brady/Rodgers that year and it's unfortunate.

Yeah, at Seattle, when they were still considered a beastly defense, even the best of the best weren't going in there and lighting it up......GB D definitely had one of their better days for sure

Head in the sand, you are a perfect sheep. No not a steelers fan. Nice try though.

I wasn't implying you were an actual Steelers fan, genius.

He will have the most rings as a QB and crazy stats/records to back his career up. I'd have to say yes.

I've debated for a few years whether or not he was the greatest ever. With his 4th title two years ago I was pretty convinced that he probably was. Now, just making this Super Bowl has officially done it for me. He is literally the GOAT. Has the wins, titles, numbers and did it all without a significant amount of help. If he wins this game there can be literally no argument whatsoever.

Yeah, I do, 5 Super Bowl wins, being this dominant for so long, he'll be my #1 all time should he win.
