Every QB is a system QB. Tom Brady excels in his system. Put him in a different system (like the one the shanahans developed for RG3) and he doesn't shine. How do you think he would do in a Kelly offense? Probably not as good. Labeling KC, or any other QB, a system QB is a bunch of crap, IMO.

You have to laugh at so-called analysts .... the west coast offense run so successfully by Bill Walsh with Joe Montana and later Young is now called the "dink and dunk" offense and is not a good thing. :trash:

In case no one is watchin the NE Patriots use a lot of "dink and dunk" offense also. Brady must be a system QB. :noidea: Of course in any sport I have played or coached you want to put people in a position that they can succeed in. Wasn't that what Shanahan did the first year with Griffin?

I disagree with this. It's true for some people but not all. Brady would still kick ass in Kelly's system. Or any system really. And he has played in different systems.

Do any teams NOT have a system in place. Their offensive scheme is a system. Are there any teams out there who just play random backyard football. I can hear it now if so.. OK Mike,,go about 20 yards down field then cut to the middle..Eric,,10 yards and then button hook. Christ people grasp on straws to bring players down.

It’s The System: Brooks on Cousins and Norman

why is being a system guy such a debbie downer ? if system norman and KC take us to a superbowl i give a crap

imo, it's more of a factor on DEF than OFC.

When it comes to QB...you have to play to your QB's strengths imo to get the best production...Again here in ATL...Matt Ryan has always been a great stats QB running mostly drop back, playaction...Shanny comes in LY wanting more roll out, bootlegs...Ryan's worse yr as a pro.

IMO this points more at Norman...I'm always a little leery of DEF players that have a career yr, then leave via FA...we'll have to see how he fares.

He uses it sometimes if it fits the qb. It's just 1 play though. His QBs haven't exactly been mobile in the pros.
Yeah Vick is an oak tree back there

Most players are system players and that is every position. Out of the hundreds of FAs we always talk about, how many actually perform to the level they played that got them paid? Very few.
