This game pissed me off, what does this win say about their trade?? If they thought they could contend then why trade your best player without getting anyone back?? if you are quitting the season, why win a game before Jacksonville does?? They played the whole game as if they had nothing to lose, but i just dont understand why...

maybe i am just pissed because i picked minnesota in an elimination pool!!!

I'm glad Cleveland won. What does the win say about the trade? It says that RB's in the NFL are overrated commodities.

Here's your top 5 rushers from the week

Murray, McCoy, Powell, Williams, Franklin

Cleveland looks smart this week. Chud hates to the run the ball, and when he does use his RB's, he throws to them. With TRich gone, they no longer have to commit to slow, plodding run plays that detract from their overall offensive game plan. He used 3 RB's in Carolina and he'll do the same in Cleveland. You see that TE he has? Losing TRich helps that guy strictly based on the amount of touches he'll get now. They'll use that first rounder on someone they can actually use.

It proved Minny is shitty, Cleveland will still get a top 5 pick, but I think they need to keep Gordon and get rid of Little.

I think more lucky than smart...lucky they were playing a team that might actually have worse problem at QB than they do. That said, you're not going to win many games throwing the ball 50+ times.

We are reading way too much into this. One bad team beat another bad team. It's the NFL and the players are still professionals. They shouldn't just lay down all year to maybe get the first pick. There is no guarantee anyway regarding the pick. The trade was more about Indy wanting a replacement for Ballard because Indy thinks they have a shot at a play-off run. Cleveland got rid of TRich while they could get something good for him. I don't like the idea on the Browns side but hey, I'm not the one being paid for making such decisions. Maybe this is one that works for both teams.

How can you look smart when you trade a good player for future picks... Not saying they will not be better off next year and in the future, but there is no way they would be better off this season... If they cared about this season they would have gotten a player back in the deal...

No, it is not that one bad team beat another bad team... the Browns played the game like they had nothing to lose, they did fake FGs fake punts, went for it on fourth down... they played the game like they had to win... and that is my problem...

When I saw TRich at Bama I thought he was a beast, and he was. The more and more I see him play in the NFL, the slower and worse he looks. He could probably be the strongest RB in the NFL, but you have to be fast AND strong nowadays. It doesn't help him when he is running inside and two guys are tackling him, they will 2 against 1 everytime.

I thought this was awful at first, but the more I look at it he wasn't right for the Browns and he didn't fit the system. He wanted to get rid of him ASAP...still think they could of got more value if they waited some time.

They need to play like that every game...nothing to lose. Bc they don't. They are rebuilding AGAIN, but how many games are they going to win going for it on 4th and faking punts. I think they were trying to lose, the Vikings just weren't expecting it and Cleveland got lucky. Now that teams will more likely look for it, the tables will turn

I don't understand having a problem with a team playing a game hard and trying to win games. I've always had way more of a problem with teams that just mail it in on Sunday. Professional pride matters to me. The Jags came into Seattle with virtually no chance. They were blown out and we got our second stringers into the second half but the Jags honestly played hard and tried to compete and that tells me they have some pride and good coaching. Just because a team is bad and looking ahead to a top draft pick shouldn't mean they lay down 3 weeks into the year.

Bradshaw looked a lot more explosive than TRich. I think browns made the right call based on their assessment of the player.

People are asking why would you trade a "good" player? When you are drafted in the top 5, you need to show signs of being a Great player. TRich is not a Great player, thats the answer.

If you play like you HAVE to win, then why would you trade your best runner without getting anyone back?? I just dont see any defending that... If you trade your best player(even if he may be over-rated) and get draft picks that is saying you are looking to the future, and that the present is not important... once again if the present is important then they would have gotten someone for him... even if it was heyward bay or donald brown...

I don't see how it's possible to be pissed about a sorry ass franchise like Cleveland winning a game. Unless they beat your team. Because otherwise LOLing at the Browns is like LOLing at retards. It's just not nice.

Draft picks have plenty of value too. Especially to a new regime.

Bottom line, they dont trust their QBs to be long term solutions. The present is important, but not as important as the future. IMO, the trade was a win-win.
