Greg comes around when we beg him...
Maybe we should all get down on our hands and knees and plead.

Ok... so, I'm Femurov. I got the nickname in college when I broke my femur playing football (I caught the ball!) The "ov" part came a while later when our fraternity played hockey and decided to add "ov" to the end of all of our names to resemble the russian line from the Red Wings of the early to mid 90s. I've been a Broncos fan since "the Drive". I was born a Redskins fan and decided when I was about 7 that I needed to like a football team because I like them, not because my parents liked them. I took about 2 1/2 to 3 years getting almanacs and history books for my birthday/christmas and narrowed it down to 3 teams before those playoffs. After that drive, I said, "win or lose, I have found my team!" Here I am, almost 30 years later and still bleeding the orange and blue. I'm married, have 2 kids, a dog named Champ and a cat named Peyton. I am currently the Front of the House manager at a bar that I used to bartend in. This is my 2nd stint there and I've been in this building for a total of 10 years. I like beer and have another habit that people in Colorado approve of. I found KFFL a while back, while searching the interwebs for NFL Mock Drafts. I posted mostly in those forums until I got curious and explored the Broncos forum and met these crazy kids. Mingo kicked me out of the forum and told me to get off his lawn, but DC lured me back in, saying he was having a cold war flashblack and thought I was Gorbachev. I had to email him a picture of my head to get him to believe me. I'm pretty open about stuff, so don't be afraid to ask questions if you need to.

... not to mention the two great ghost stories and the fantastic acceptance speeches when you win the BFFP contests :)

I bought all the farm land in Idaho, and it's residents are now mostly made up of my family members.

Mingo,
I have run into you before. Were you ever on ESPN boards?

No, but I got the name in the mid 90s and the simplicity of it had enough appeal to others I guess - I would find when I tried to register at new Boards - the name Mingo was already taken. I am, if course, named after the first Bronco star ever Gene Mingo. At one time - my Dad was number 34 on the Bronco season ticket list - I listened the first AFL profootball game between the Broncos and the Boston Patriots in 1960 - still remember the Broncos won it with a dramatic FG at the end of regulation.

I see you registered here right after me. I probably saw you post here early. Welcome back.

It feels really weird not being able to call Mingo our moderator.

Very excited for the Haiku's! We've been lacking that certain level of class so adding a poet to the group definitely bumps us up a level.
