I was daydreaming about the possibilities for how this season finishes and one of those is of course making the playoffs, then winning a national title. After considering, that would most likely mean that Joe Burrow wins the Heisman. Then I thought about the Heisman curse and that we might lose.

So...

The question is, would you rather have one of your players win the Heisman

OR

Your team win the national title?

We've won a couple of titles somewhat recently (I'm 44, shut up!), so it might be more interesting to have our guy win the Heisman...

To hell with the Heisman, LSU needs one of those Mounted Vaginas to go between their two Glass Balls.

As a fan of a team that's won 4 Heismans in recent times, you got go with the national championship all day, everyday. Not one of those guys won a Natty. I'm sure all 4 would give up that trophy if meant they coulda won it all.

I am not a huge fan of the Heisman. My team(s) to win a national title. All day, any day.

Why not both? Alabama is 2 for 2 in the Heisman-National Championship Double.

I'd just like my team to score more than 1 TD vs a good team. Small goals

National title. A heisman is nice but you play to be the best.

Question is dumb. The answer is clearly a NC.

Ok. @bocomo007

How about this, you’re a QB in the transfer portal. Do you go to a team where you know you have an amazing chance at winning the Heisman or a team where you’ll be the faves to win the National title.

In this scenario, I’m going for the Heisman.

The Heisman is overrated and often causes players and coaches to do dumb things.

I couldn’t care less if we EVER have another Heisman winner.

Heisman has become a joke. If it truly goes to the best player in college football, there is only one choice and they need not invite anyone else.

Georgia will never have another Heisman winner, and probably never another natty either, but the natty seems more likely, and I really don’t care about an award that only goes to QBs with the occasional RB thrown in

I don't think having another Heisman winner or winning another natty makes much "real" difference for one of the blue blood programs. Yeah, it gives 'em bragging rights and such for a while, but they'll still be a blue blood regardless.

But, IIRC, the dean of the registration/admissions office at Baylor said their applications nearly tripled after RGIII won the Heisman. Their enrollment didn't necessarily increase but their apps did.

National Championship.... What would you rather have, the best player as voted by the media or the best team, proven on the field?

For a mid level P5 or a strong G5 school probably the Heisman would be their choice. Any of the bigger schools want the Natty.

At this point I'd rather beat Ohio State than win either.
