Gibbs wasn't in this situation with Campbell nor did joe have to worry about Snyder or Vinny overseeing him, rushing him or denyinhg him anything. He (Gibbs) may actually be the only HC in the Snyder era that didn't get static or interference from Snyder.

What Gibbs saw, at least imo, was that he realized Jason Caqmpbell was a mistake of a draft pick, though I don't blame all that on Campbell. He was coached horribly by Gibbs imo. Gibbs coached Campbell not to lose as opposed to trying to win.

Mostly agree. But I think the Gibbs wasn't in this situation thing stems from the fact that while Vinny was a yes man, that's all he was. Vinny was more than happy to step back and stay in his lane and let Gibbs be the lead dog.

Bruce on the other hand actually thinks he knows what the fuck he is doing. A man with power that thinks he knows what he is doing is a very dangerous thing.

Remember in that Q&A session Cousins had w/ the fans he stated that he would take his time on this & no decision would be made for a while. That could be BS but you have to believe that meant this would not be resolved immediately.
He can say he will take his time, but that doesn't preclude the team from making him an offer that he can't (or shouldn't) refuse. Put the onus on him. Poop or get off the pot. If he turns down such an offer, you know he isn't coming back so you can plan accordingly. You are no longer being held hostage as you plan your 2018 personnel actions.

Should have been done already. A real offer should have been ready and waiting irrespective of the outcome of the Giants game. Kirks agent should have been in the owners box week 17, and as the game ended an offer should have been made.

Until they make him a real offer, this is all on the front office in my opinion.

Yup. They have had all season to draft such an offer. Nothing material is going to change from now until FA that would affect such an offer. No, BA is being BA. Thinking he is being crafty and outwitting KC. Once again, KC's agent will run circles around Allen. Its not a fair fight.
