Raving lunatic
he actually made some nice throws, when I wasn't asleep.
I disagree. Burkhead would clearly be the third back and if we started losing guys to injury other backs would be signed. The only carries Peerman would ever see in a regular game would be in week 17. He doesn't need reps in August so he can be ready for spot duty in December.
And where did I say the sky was falling? I don't expect Peerman's injury to cost us the playoffs, but I'm tired of people thinking he doesn't matter to the special teams. There is a reason why we are now good on coverage teams and it's because we value guys that do the job well. Peerman was a pro-bowl special teamer.... That's not easy to replace and it does matter.
I agree that they can't all sit out..... I think the starters need to play because they need the practice. Peerman's case just struck me as particularly tough because I consider running back to be 'out of position' for him given how unlikely he is to play it during the season.
Unfortunately we're incredibly thin at corner.... That's a place we normally draw from for special teams.
Oddly enough, I think his injury opens the door for the Bengals to keep an extra WR (Erickson).
Oh, I don't doubt that, but with no Peerman, you can keep an extra WR and go one less at RB. Wright and Erickson could go on the PS, but of the two, Wright likely sticks and Erickson is likely to get claimed. Also, Erickson seems like he could be more of a true slot WR, where as the rest of the WR's are more apt to lineup outside.Brandon Tate is a lock. you can take that to the bank.
Who should I guarantee doesn't get cut next? lol.
Went too far.rubbing my magic lamp here.
Russel Bodine is awesome, y'all can suck his center playing a**.
we got 3 centers and he's the best one out of all 3 of them.... FACT!
NEVER GONNA BE RELEASED...
PERIOD!
EXCLAMATION POINT.
With Tate gone, who is the most unpopular Bengal?
I guess Bodine is the leader in the clubhouse, but don't sleep on Nugent or Kirkpatrick.
I wouldn't mind seeing the Bengals add Boom Herron to the team if they decide to IR Peerman. He was a beast on special teams for us when he was here. I'm sure it would also be fully endorsed by the Buckeye homers around here.
