You've got a 42% like ratio.

You Ohio guys must say, "Go Indians" and get 100+ likes or something. :noidea:

I miss going to Tribe games. Although I sure as hell don't miss living in NE Ohio.

Way to go Mr Banister. Sincerely.

And I hope EA stays there and prospers for us.

What-the-hell, hitting LO ain't for everybody, nor is hitting CU, or in the # 2 hole.

And if someone would've told me I'd be happy to see DeShields in our lineup in mid May, I'd bet against it.

I've only been to Cleveland once in my life, and I gotta say, I thought it was terrific. Pretty nice people and the terrain reminded me very much of Middle Tennessee. Had some very good BBQ there as well.

Damn. I mentioned that the other day and hadn't read it or heard it mentioned anywhere. I really never thought it would even be considered. Banister just moved up a notch in my book. He's at notch 1.

The only difference is I'd have Delino at 2B with Blanks in LF again. Having Chirinos and Fields back to back is just giving the opponent 2 outs.

I'd still like them to call up Telis.

We drove through Cleveland one Sunday morning and attended church there at Cleveland Baptist. The folks there at the church were very nice folks.

Good deal. I'm actually originally from Akron but I'm familiar w/ pretty much all of Cleveland.

Made the drive from Cleveland to Akron and it's damn near scenic. Not kidding, for those who have never been to Cleveland.

Rolling countryside, HUGE old oak trees, and a winding road too. Of course, this was many years ago. Bet the road is some 4 lane, divided toll road or some-such now.

First, how many notches are there? Just messing with ya buddy.

Second, I remember you making the "suggestion" of such. So....You've moved up a notch too.

But I'm not as down on Chirinos/Field as you. Understand why you are. But the season is still young - especially for Field - and we'll see how it all shakes out down the road.

I do know this, I'd much rather see Field here now than Odor, and that's not even close to me.

Just saw Channel 5 weather. Storms due in DFW around 10:00. Wind and hail expected.

At least Pegs is out of the lineup.

I'd rather put our best bats in the line-up. Right now that is Blanks and Delino. There's a reason Fields has never been able to stick in the ML. He's a career .273 minor league hitter.

I just have a feeling our rotation is about to start getting hit. The batters are getting their timing and pitchers aren't as far ahead of hitters as they were at the beginning of the year. We need the best bats out there.

I understand completely on Field. But, he's taking the place of Odor, who by one and all's opinion, needed to be somewhere other than on the Rangers roster for the immediate, if not longer, future. So whatever he gives us, I'm good with it for now.

And you're probably right about our starting rotation. After all, coming into the season, they weren't expected, nor counted on, to be world beaters.

Besides, no one could expect Martinez to keep up his first month of the season. Detwiler, who knows what to expect, other than not much really. Colby is probably the only starter we have which we can truly depend on, day-in-out right now. And that's one heck-of-a-statement.

Gonna lose that replay. He touched that in fair territory.
