Fed through against friends and countrymen. FedEx mode on I think. He plays Brother Edlund next who is British no. 1

FED vs. Wawrinka with an early draw clash next.

I wasn't careful enough, and set my DVR for Thursday, instead of Tuesday. So I missed this one.

Isner down a set to Khachanov.

:L

Kohlschreiber vs. Monfils has the potential to be a 3 set match.

If Nadal doesn’t feel 100% I doubt he would show up to the semis. At this point in both their careers the h2h is what Nadal treasures most and he would want it to be the least harmed.

thiem did it

I've always liked Thiem better than peers Dmitrov and Alexander Zverev. Less holes in is game, and a better fighter.

Thiem just keeps going and is relentless.

This was a closer match for Federer than the one against Del Potro last year. In that one, Federer seemed down most of the match.

In this one, Federer seemed up 65/35.

Congrats to Thiem.

Sucks for Federer to lose 2 Indian Wells Finals in a row. But not many can make 3 Finals in a row, with one title.

They do not.

No, Nadal isn't as obsessed with the H2H. If he were healthy, he would have played, as he had a shot at the title.

I watched the match. It was a couple of points here and there. Roger had chances to win the match just as much but he didn’t sink his teeth when he had break oppprtunities and was only two points away from winning on Thiem’s serve. That is where Nadal excels. He plays conservatively to get the breaks and the wins while Fed still goes all out.
