We all know certain players have reputations with the zebras - Perry, Holmstorm, Pronger - Burrows is no exception. Unfortunately, refs downright blow too many calls by reputation alone and not by the acutal play on the ice. Ok, I was kidding about Pronger - he gets away with way more than he gets called for

As far as these type of plays go, for a team they probably even out over a season - for a player they don't.

i taped the game and watched it late last night. wow I thought the game I played had bad reffing. At least we won. this was downright deplorable. awful 5 min major. a 2 min I could handle but that 5 min crap cost 2 pts.

well its a good loss to take. wakes up the team that you need to get through biased crap like that and to not put yourself in that position. we needed some sort of adversity late in the season and this is a good thing to wake us up. we have coasted through much of the season just winning and winning. dont want hit round one and find that losing. gotta remember what it was that got you there.

like I said earlier in one of my rants, thank vishnu that we aren't fighting for a playoff spot, because that reffing job was ass r*pe with no lube.


Burrows is trying to stay on the right side of things, too:
