/I can't recall paying less than $8.00 for a beer at Rogers Arena though.
FX rate is close enough to par to not make that much of a difference.

You sure know how to get me to click on a thread. :)

They are overpriced everywhere. The real trick is to get loaded before you go, then you only need a maintenance beer or two at the game.

One thing that I don't like about that chart is they don't compare the same size beers. I would rather they convert it into price per ounce and then average it to cost per 12oz beer. Is a 12oz beer at 5.00 better than a 14oz beer at 5.75?

And yes, maybe I am studying the chart a little too closely...

I went to an NFL game on Thanksgiving. The beers were $7.25 but there were a couple of microbrews available.
Usually beer sales are cut off at the end of the 3rd, but for night games its halftime. Of course that just meant a bunch of people were carrying two back to the their seat.

I wonder what the cost for food and beverage would be without the taxes? I think this might be a job for our resident numbers guy Darkstone.

Our local AHL team has dollar beer night. The product on ice might not be the greatest, but I'll be damned if an AHL game isn't a good time.
