PWInsider is reporting that the State of TN had filed a lien against TNA for unpaid taxes. This looks real bad to me. When a business can't make enough money to even pay their taxes, bankruptcy is right around the corner.

The hits just keep coming for TNA. PWInsider.com is reporting that American Express Travel Related Services filed suit on 7/21/2016 in the Supreme Court of the State Of New York, Amex alleges that after giving TNA Entertainment, LLC an American Express Corporate Card, TNA spent $269,049.50 that they have not paid. They asked that judgment be rendered in their favor for the unpaid balance, plus court costs. TNA received the lawsuit in August.

I dont understand what Billy is doing. Apparently he does not want to get bought out, does not want to get paid, what does he want? He could come back to chicago and start his own rasslin deal like before, or just start up by himself, there is going to be talent available.

I'm no lawyer but it looks to me like Corgan wants complete control/ownership of TNA without paying another dime. You're right, why he wants control of this mess when it would be better to start over fresh is beyond me too.

I think Corgan believes that being the 100% owner of TNA and changing it's name is a better starting point than starting a company from scratch. The hardest thing to get is a TV deal(just ask Double J about his new promotion) and TNA already has that.

According to PWInsider.com as of Friday (4 Nov) TNA has yet to pay Corgan off despite having a 1 Nov deadline for repayment of Corgan's loans. Looks like this mess is far from over.

If you have an hour to listen, Mike Johnson did an interview with Billy Corgan describing his time in TNA and how he was treated by Dixie Carter and company. Listening to it this makes Corgan look stupid for believing Dixie Carter on everything without any research and it makes TNA looks like a shady as fuck business.

I don't know about Bully Ray, he was supposed to sign but backed out and they went with Del Rio.

And Del Rio won the title but they striped him of it so right now it's vacant.

TNA should save their money on WWE retreads and make a run at young talent from the indies and build the company around them. This seems so obvious to me at this point. They have new ownership and a blank slate but it seems like they're following the same pattern as the old regime.

Once everything settles down, Impact Wrestling is going to be what GFW was supposed to be. The trailer for GFW looked intriguing.


You're already started to see it with the global partnerships with NOAH, AAA, Crash and WOS.

The Hardy thing is a big negative, but the positives of the new regime far outweigh that.

Since Anthem took over:

-Got a new TV deal in the UK
-Partnerships with NOAH, AAA and CRASH
-Having a hand in producing WOS on ITV
-Multiple bad contracts are off the books
-Finally delivering to Sony SIX on their promised tour of India. Something that Dixie keep stringing SONY SIX along with.
-Website
-Finally ditching the TNA name
-Website is once again functional
