Way too conservative in the first half. Jay looked rough there for a bit...not able to establish any rhythm. Once they opened it up at the end they looked a little better. Jay didn't play great today, but coaching hurt us the most. Kick the FG. Trust your D and then yer O to win the game. Instead of scoring a TD to attempt to tie it up, it would've been to fucking win it.

4th and goal from the 1?...maybe. 4th and goal from the 5?....with 10 and change left? Kick the fucking FG.

It's ironic that the usually ultra conservative Fox cost the Bears the game by not taking the FG. They've won 4 of 7 games, and the 3 losses were games that they blew in unbelievable fashion. Bears could easily be 7-3 right now. It sucks, but you can see the Bears are gonna be a very good team next year. Hard to expect playoffs this season with Jeffery, Royal and Forte missing so much time.

I heard it was an audible this morning and I really cannot say I can blame Jay since the receivers were getting no separation in those close quarters. I think a bootleg was the correct call since Denver was over committing to that side, but that should have been called from the bench, maybe it was. Who knows. Game should have been in hand when Mariani was left wide open on the left side and all 21 other players on the field were on the right side, but you still cant just stand there waving your arms. Jay saw it and gave that reaction Rodgers got a train run on when he saw it after they showed him Mariani wide open. Maybe someone that watches that all 22 can see if they even tried that play again on that last possession.

I dont know why people have so much hope for next year, we dont know who half these guys off the street are playing this defense, and Fox has made terrible decisions not to take points in terrible weather. I wont put this on the players. That second pick could not be repeated if you ran that scenario 100 times. Just dumb luck for it to hit the back of a guard to make it to a DT. You figure Gase will be interviewed for a head coach job and Jay gets another system to run and there will be 20 new guys on defense again.

They actually changed the ruling on that 2nd interception to a fumble so it wouldn't have mattered if he caught it or not. Now given the officials could have blown the whistle and the play could have been dead before a for sure recovery happened kind of thing but they usually like to let those plays play out for a second or two extra just in case.

I heard something similar, a Run/Pass option... not really an "audible" but 2 play calls in the huddle and based on pre-snap look the #'s in the box looked favorable for the Run option, but 2 things happened:
1.) Either Grasu didn't hear/understand the call or simply got blown up. (It looked like he was pass blocking?)
2.) And nobody picked up the blitz...which slowed down JL before he could even get started.

If they Line get's on the same page- and fires off... and get's better push the Blitzer doesn't factor in...

We have to look at that whole 4 plays down there too. I can't decided if Fox was thinking "4 down territory" they whole time or just on a whim decided to go for it on 4th.
If he was thinking they were going to run 4 plays no matter what- then the play calls should have been better. AND I didn't see a single RB Screen or QB Rollout and minimal Play Action all day yesterday- that was odd to me. With that aggressive DL- I thought they could have gashed them at least a few times.
