I did some quick research to see if what I said about starting 3 top 100 recruits held water or not.

I found that Copeland, Watson, and Palmer were all top 100 as I thought.

Roby was just outside the top 100 at 113th, and Jordy was 150th.

These are 5 of our most used players. Now, recruiting rankings don't always pan out obviously, but that is an excuse we've been using for years in both football and basketball. At some point it becomes a coaching and developing issue.

With that kind of talent we should at the very worst be a top 50 basketball team with potential to crack the top 25.

Also, Creighton beat Clemson, and that same Creighton team had to get lucky at home to beat Western Illinois....whom we obliterated today.

If we don’t beat Clemson I’m going to be PISSED. I’m still pissed at how Texas Tech manhandled us. Time to beat a good team like we should.

Hopefully they learned something with that loss to TT. Smiles needs way more movement in the offense to get guys more chances to attack the rim and put up good shots, but I honestly don't know if he even understands that.
