No, he just hung out with woManny and Gagne too much. They were bad influences on him.

I agree. They are all equally guilty. Just like Guillermo Mota.

Three words:

Seven.
Six.
Two.

I was at a Dodgers/Giants games and got to see him hit one out in that final season. I have never seen a ball zip by so quickly.

Also, that was the third game in a sweep by the Giants. I have never been more uncomfortable at Dodger Stadium. The entire Stadium was livid and there were fans getting thrown out left and right. Truly a disgusting day to be a Dodger fan.

The last word: GOAT.

C'mon, better than Willie Mays even? There's no denying that Bonds is one of the greatest ever, though, steroids or not.

If you can have more than one per sport (Rice and Brown) I've gotta throw out:

Ruth, Babe

Give it to the Babe since he could pitch, too.

Lol. My dad and brother had tics for the night after he hit 756.

My dad was at the mall with my mom that night, so after bonds hit the homer I called him and he answered, said "I know, the tics are worthless" and hung up on me.

I think, by definition, greatEST is necessarily singluar.

However, I can see the argument for Ruth being the GOAT

Do you give it to Ruth, or Bonds?

And in football, Rice or Brown?

Brown, Jim.

What is not well known is that as good a football player that Brown was, he was even more dominant as a lacrosse player.

I cannot imagine a guy that big, that strong, that fast, and that tough playing lacrosse almost 60 years ago. He must have been unstoppable.

Football is easy -- Jerry.

Baseball is more complicated, as Ruth didn't play in an integrated league, he wasn't walked like BB, but he did pitch and he defined his era. Bonds played with PEDs, against PED pitchers, modern training, was walked a ton.

I can see it either way, but BB was a Giant so he wins.

That was my Jim Brown GOAT reference. As a lacrosse player. I've never read anyone dispute this either.
