Just making the point that Bama having the "better loss" is irrelevant, and should be to voters.

OSU has the far better resume. They've beaten more ranked teams, won their conference, and Bama being better is just opinion and bias.

Bama hasn't EARNED the right to be ranked higher. And I don't even care about OSU, I just think Bama hasn't proven squat this year.

If they get in, there will DEFINITELY be changes in the BCS because every other conference will demand it. They WILL put in a rule that non-conference champs can't play for the title. The SEC media bias will force that for sure.

I agree with the fact that OSU has a better overall resume, and who these teams lost to shouldn't be the only deciding factor.

I, for one, never said Bama should be ahead of OSU because their loss as better.

I just think your "08 Texas vs 08 Florida" comparison was weak as both teams schedules were comparable.

People talk about how Okie st. beat so and so ranked teams, but aren't those teams rankings based on opinion? How do we know they should've been ranked at all?

It's all an opinion, nothing is fact about college football until we get a playoff. So it's unfair to write off my opinion about Bama being better than Okie st.

It says winning your conference is pointless.
It says that the only thing that matters is your personal opinion of who is the best, NOT what has been proven on the field of play.

There is not ONE objective, realistic, rational, or logical reason to vote Bama #2, not one.

If what someone said is true, OSU only needs 42 2nd place votes and everyone else 3rd, I think they get it. Coaches poll will most likely have Saban #2 but Harris could put the pokes #2 and that would be enough.

I'm not really sure why anyone cares who gets the bid. They are just going to lose to LSU anyway. The real national championship game this year should be LSU@Green Bay.

We care because having two teams from the same division play for the NC is wrong when there ate qualified representatives available.
