-6.5 is assuming Tanner Lee throws how many pick 6's?

Cuz seriously if he can take care of the ball, we can win this game by a couple TD's. But one pick 6 can easily be a 14 point swing.

When it's thrown at the opponents 3 and returned 97 yds, yes.

Play 2) Max coverage, run play for 15 yards, first down.
Play 3) Max coverage (they've gotta throw it sometime...), run play 23 yards first down.
Play 4) Max coverage (any time now), run play, first and goal.
Play 5) Max coverage (here it comes), out pattern, pick 6. Riley: "how'd they know I was gonna sling it?! Galdarnit!"

i didn't feel like letting these go to waste.

First we ran out of this formation a ton and i only think i saw one pass. for the most part the runs worked, however as you can see from this pic, all 11 of our guys are in it and you got 9 defensive players, so need a deep threat to keep them honest, i'd hope they have some decent passing plays drawn up for it:IMG_20170924_084128890.jpg

here's one of TL just staring a guy down, i believe this was like a fade to either DPE or Speilman and double covered, meanwhile McNitt looks to come out good and the check down would have been the way to go.

Rutgers did this a lot on runs, and i mean a lot, i think i counted a good 6 times this happened. i didn't see one time DL tried to take advantage of it. not sure if Rutgers just knew it was coming or if someone should be blocking this or what

weird attachment was working in preview. let me try again.

last one. this is like the one deep ball i remember pretty much the whole game and it was just horrible. plenty of time here, the RB does his job and picks up the guy, but he just yolo bombs it. The DB is on the WR's back and I don't see any Safety help, why wouldn't you throw this right at your WR or to his left so your WR can either come back to the ball or he can run away from the DB?

(oops this cut earlier than i told it to, but i think you can see it still as i'm too lazy to do it again.)

#22 from Rutgers either got lucky or knew the play. He didn't even jam the rcvr.
they did it the whole game. like 5 or 6 times.

i was leaning more towards the lack of respect for our WRs and they just figured they'd take that chance.

Monday Recap: Win and Survive

Check out the RPO section towards the bottom. This is one of the things we did to combat that. As noted in the article, that particular play wasn't successful but the playcall was good. Need Spielman to get off the line quicker and Lee to get the ball out.

No way they knew, no way, there's at least 3 other plays it could have been just as easy, so lucky

That one play their defensive coordinator figured Nebraska out. The corners always ran into the backfield letting the receiver go. Rutgers knew it was a run play.

If we see future opponents do the same, then we know there is a major tell. Wisconsin and Ohio State wiil take full advantage with their speed.

All we have to do is watch the next game and we will know.
