I'm surprised Roberts let him pitch the 7th inning let alone the 8th inning. How you don't go to your strong bullpen guys earlier in such an important game is beyond me.

Never mind. LOL. Now you guys know I didn't start watching until the 7th inning.

I can be happy now. We're lucky the Dodgers haven't won a WS yet during this big money regime. They could've easily multiple WS by now.

My son was born in Pasadena in 1989. He has never seen the Dogs win the WS in his lifetime. And he has had the distinct displeasure of watching the old man celebrate three WS wins for the Giants. Ah, life is good.

My daughter once asked me, last year I believe, if we root for the Dodgers (mind you, I have no Dodger paraphernalia in the house but quite a few Giants' stuff). It was in that moment that I realized that I had failed as a father.

My youngest son once asked how come I didn’t root for the Dodgers in the playoffs. He stated that they were from the same division as the Giants and I should be rooting for them. It took a while to explain the whole rivalry thing to him.

I raised a baseball fan. While I tried to steer him towards the light, the peer pressure of living in LA was too much for the lad. So he roots for the Dodgers and Clippers, and he went to UCLA.
Its not too late for him to come to the light and repent of his wicked ways. Maybe this early exit will trigger some deep soul searching.
