At -2.5 I can see how the Eagles looked tempting at home, but going back to look at the second half of their season, I think circumstances lined up really well for them. They ran into some banged up teams, bad defenses, and teams that seemed determined to crash and burn down the stretch. I'm surprised the one they couldn't beat was Minnesota.

I didn't expect the Saints to win. I also didn't expect them to run the ball as much as they did. The three NO RBs combined for 171 yards on 30 carries and I think Brees converted four first downs on QB sneaks. Combine that with how well the defense played, particularly before Keenan Lewis was knocked out of the game, and the Saints played an excellent game.
