If You Met Bo Pelini

Met him. My Brother's Father-in-law lives down the street from him. We were introduced, I Shook his hand and said "hey, Tony" he said "Bo".


An exciting story, I know.

As he fucking crushed your hand, ripped it off and threw it into the tall grass never to be seen again!

I have met Bo. I've played 36 holes of golf with him on back-to-back days.


Met and hung out with him a couple of others times since then.


Not a bad guy. Not a real engaging guy socially. (I'm sure that is a real shocker.)


Never really asked him much about football other than how he thought the next year would go. He gave the general answer of "we're excited, thinking we'll do some good things this year...", basically the same stuff you would hear in an interview or press conference.


You have to realize these guys always have to be on their guard because people are just waiting to tear them down for any public happening that isn't 100% the PC way that they should handle things.


Didn't know he was a lefty. Really shitty golfer.

Alright.....well, here's the deal.

I'm smart enough to know that nobody just meets up with Bo Pelini on a golf course for 18.......not on 1 single day, let alone back-to-back days. So you have connections of some sort, or you are somebody important.

My buddy is the host for the B1G team every year for the Capital One bowl so he's actually good friends with Bo. A couple years ago when those photos came out with him and the cats I had my buddy show him and he laughed his ass off. He's apparently got a sense of humor even though he can't coach worth shit (had to get that in there )

I did meet him once after a game. I asked him if I could take his picture. He stopped and said "sure". I said "thanks, Coach". He said "no problem, bud" and then went and did his post game show.
