Unlike the last bozos we had, Harbs is making adjustments. Sing just kept trying to run it up the gut. Today Harbs sets up the run with the pass (he must have read my posts). And when did we look dominant? It has been awhile right?

Dominant in general? How about week 17 last year?

Dominant in something meaningful and against a good opponent? Be a bit further back...announcers said that was our largest reg season margin of victory since like 1987 or something....very nice payback for that shutout last year.

I'll add this caveat, though. This is the exact kind of team we match-up well against. They like to pound the run and we're good at stopping it, they have nice receivers but no one dominant and no one with pure speed. I must say that our O against their D was a slight concern but Smith and the rest of the offense executed a beautiful game plan.

Harbaugh is the man. There was so much variety in the play calling, you never new what was coming.

I hope we keep improving......the Turkey Day Harbaugh match-up is getting more intriguing with each win.

today with the end arounds were awesome... I mean that's what i want to see... just complete variations of the playbook/playcalling week after week.

Actually looks like we're trying to win a game.

I must say, I like the end-around with the inside hand-off much better than the ones where the receiver goes behind the RB in the eye. The later takes soooo long to develop that it's almost a 50/50 of getting dropped for a bid loss.

Just for the record I threw the most childish temper tantrum you ever heard when it was reported the Dolphins signed Harbaugh.

Ha yeah I was really pissed when I heard that. I was pretty pissed at Harbaugh too because there were so many reports that the deal was done so I was pretty much celebrating then all of a sudden the dolphins came into the picture and i thought we lost him.

I drafted San Fransico Defense as my back up fantasy D and New Orleans as my main.

I've only played NO defense one week of the first 5.

I'm a believer and that defense is sick!

Sorry, but I'm not on the bandwagon yet, do like that he brought in Fangio though.

agree.

not that he hasn't worked wonders so far, but want to see it over more time. not making a big deal by trying to be 'opposed', lets just see how the season goes?

also, not judging him by just wins his first year, its more important to see how the players play, how they're improving, and most importantly.....how they react after a lost....or heaven forbid.....lossES?

not surprising he's adding plays as we go along, it was game 5.

with the short off-season we had a limited playbook early on. of course everyone forgets this soon as the season started. if the O-line continues to improve like today, no doubt Harbaugh will run the playbook sooner rather than later.

I was at the Coliseum the day Stanford beat USC as 40pt underdogs and have been a fan since. I'm glad to see him out of the pac-12! I've said from the beginning of his tenure that we'll see a huge improvement in the running game because his creativity in calling run plays is unparalleled. We're running power traps, sweeps, tosses, inside, outside stretch runs and the defense is completely confused. Mix in passes, and we're getting a great old-fashioned balance of football.
