I could see a scenario where Scot wants to change direction and build the type of offense Seattle runs. It may put Dan in the middle and require him to choose between pulling rank on Scot and staying the course or letting Scot take this team in another direction and allow him to pick a coach, a quarterback, and a offensive system that fits his personality, tough, running, smash mouth Seattle, San Francisco type of offense.
I have no idea what I would do. I don't want to start over and I don't want to lose Scot. I hope everyone is on the same page at Redskins park, but I fear they are not.
Won't happen - at a minimum Cousins will be tagged again, but more likely he will be extended. The overall contract amt will be an issue, but I am pretty sure that this will be settled in time.
My fear is that Cousins gets the long term deal & doesn't feel like he has to improve that much & that he is not one of the primary reasons for several of their big losses. He is going to have to learn how to win big games. Performances like yesterday are not going to cut it regardless of how much the rest of the team improves.
I see Gruden and Cousins as a part of each other. Gruden seems to be a good QB. He was able to work with everyone but the Cleveland kid.
Scott - so far as the draft goes the highlights were in year one @ Scherff and Crowder. I think we all like Jarrett but it seems there is little chance we see him again.
I'd like to see the trio stay in tack. First back to back winning seasons in two year. They all contributed to that. I think more of the same with a few more players makes it possible.
