....at the start of the offseason that Nick Castellanos would be the last major free agent remaining on the board, I would have asked him to pass me the bong. I can't understand why he still remains unsigned, unless either his agent is making outrageous salary demands or GMs are offering him BS contracts. There's still a lot of offseason left, but I'm sure he'd like to settle in with some team soon. He just may have to set up a prove-it one year deal, which I'm sure he'd prefer not to do.

Same reason JD Martinez was the last free agent on the board two years ago after hitting over 50 HR's in 110 games and didn't get signed until mid-spring training. Same reason Kuechel was last year until the midway point of the regular season.
