Would he be the heisman frontrunner? Timing...it's all about timing of the losses.

The OP has a VALID point.
Hell, up until Tebow won it, you pretty much had no shot at winning a Heisman with 2 losses and being an underclassman, no matter how much you may have deserved it.
Times are a'changing.....and those losses happening early in the year have definitely helped Manziel win this Heisman. If Klein losses early and not late, he could actually still be the front runner.
Man, you really are butthurt over A&M and the SEC aren't you? I think a lot of the SEC hate is just bored trolling, but you just can't seem to get us out of your mind can you?
I doubt he'd be the front-runner. Like has been said, it's way better to lose early than late. Look at RG3, he lost 3 games last season and I think he looked pretty bad in a couple of those losses but they were in the middle of the season. Everyone seemed to forget the bad games since he finished the season strong.

uhhh.....what? RG3 didn't have a SINGLE bad game last year, not one. His TEAM may have played poorly but he didn't.
Except that RG3 had the highest QB Rating in history at the time of the Heisman vote. Johnny Manziel has the 16th highest QB Rating THIS YEAR.
RG3 deserved the Heisman. Manziel has a cool nickname.
Hence "I think", obviously I didn't pay very much attention to Baylor last season.
Manziel should get before Teo. Although I'm really not blown away by any of the contenders this season.
RG3 was putting up 400 yards and close to 70% in nearly every game. He was a BEAST last year that happened to play on a crappy team overall. That kid threw 17 INTs for his entire collegiate CAREER. Imagine if he had gone to a better team.....
They all suck, agreed.
My personal ballot would be
1. Marqise Lee
2. Manti Teo
3. Jarvis Jones
Manziel would be #4. Montee would be #5. Terrance Williams would be #6. Geno Smith and Tajh Boyd would be next.
Collin Klein being a finalist is one of the biggest jokes in Heisman history.
LMAO! Jason White, former OU QB, voted Klein, Te'o, and LANDRY JONES on his Heisman ballot.
Just for that last vote he should be banned from EVER voting for the Heisman again!
