My experience has been it's about getting in and going from there. The cowboys of the 70's were all about the games played in the playoffs....the wins and most certainly the loses.
To simplify for you while I want to make the playoffs yearly if the team doesn't make it I don't go into suicide mode, because it wasn't good enough to win any way, and then the teams just make it because someone had too and lose in b the playoffs doesn't bother me either. It the team that in my mind had a real shot at winning the SB that fails to do so is the times I get upset.
