Do they get in to the playoffs? Discuss.
So a undefeated team that is currently ranked, beats a number 8 ranked team and then wins out doesn't make it?No Boise would still end up higher

Oregon is #1 and they barely beat Boise in what was a true road game for the broncosLooking at Boise states schedule. They lost to the number 7 ranked team. But if army wins their game against #8, is undefeated, you put them behind Boise State why?
Idaho was within 10 of Oregon the week before. BSU played well in that game but Oregon wasn't really firing on all cylinders yet.Oregon is #1 and they barely beat Boise in what was a true road game for the broncos
Neither Boise State nor army played any other ranked teams. The one thing to directly correlate those two would be their one game against a#7-8 team. If army wins that, and Boise State has already lost theirs, how can you still put them ahead of army?
You know damn well I mentioned that in another thread. Cmon bro.Boise played WSU and beat them by 21. WSU is currently 8-1 and ranked 18th in the latest CFP rankings
I think last night took Tennessee out of the picture.Think they deserve to be in over the 4th ranked sec team with 2 losses. Losses have to matter.
YepI think last night took Tennessee out of the picture.

It all is moot if they lose to ND. I honestly don't see them winning that one which is why I'm throwing this hypothetical out one week before. Get some meat on that bone, lol.Boise State fan here. I was in San Jose yesterday for the game. I will tell you this is not Boise State's best team but they are quite good.
Boise State's only loss came on the road to currently #1 ranked Oregon. While Army has been good this year, their schedule is arguably weaker than Boise State's.
Also, (fair or not) Boise State has built a national brand by consistently being the best football team not in a power conference with three consecutive Fiesta Bowl victories over top teams.
However, if Army goes into North Bend and smokes Notre Dame and Boise with Wyoming, then I think you ask a legitimate question.
Certainly they would get in - they would jump Boise in the rankings with a win over ND.

I'm pretty much with you on that one. That's why I'm throwing this out a week before the most likely inevitable loss. Imagine IF they beat ND.....mmmmmk, juicy.I'd put Army in front. Thats said, they arent beating ND
