I'm happy for Clark, but I was hoping the Warriors would sign this kid. I felt we were short one 3 point shooter last year with Rush out, and while I like the reconfigured lineup, I still think that hole remains. I like Bazemore, but I wish he was a guy who could stretch the floor from the 3 point line. To a certain extent, Clark (or someone like him) fills a need on the current roster that Bazemore doesn't.

Clark would have been a great signing for the Warriors.

Who is coming off the bench for them after Thompson? Looks very grim....

SoFried: I agree w/you to a large extent but I'm guessing the Warriors want as many D oriented role players as they can handle - hence their appreciation of Bazemore.

Douglas isn't a 3 point specialist like Clark, but he shoots it well enough (38% last season) to keep a D honest.

Having said that (-this is code for about backtrack off my initial argument), Coach Jackson should attempt to keep Curry or Thompson on the floor at all times to make sure the team does have a big time floor spacer on the court at all times.

And one more thing, kudos to Myers for bringing in a talented group of summer league players like Clark who have valuable and in-demand skill-sets. Well Done.

I love Bazemore, and we've got a bucket full of wings, but I'd like a little hot sauce to go with it. Somebody who can provide a litte instant O and outside shooting off the bench. Jack was a pleasant surprise last year with his 3 point shooting, but Thompson often ran hot and cold, and I just felt we needed one more guy off the bench. Douglas replaces Jack, but I'd still like to see one more shooter on this team. The thing I liked about Clark is he played pretty good on the ball D in the summer league and seemed more like a legitimate two way player than most specialists. The Warriors still have two open roster slots so you never know. They might not be fillled but they have that option....

I hear ya, it's going to be interesting, the Defensive rotation will shut teams down this year, though. So if things are struggling, we may see some really low scoring quarters on both sides. Not what we're used to, but it may translate to more wins and more consistency

Not beat a dead horse, but Im sure they are going to sign Cameron Jones. He played for Santa Cruz last season, plus he's every bit the shooter that Clark is.

Good luck to Clark though, im going to hate seeing the Jazz get credit for finding a diamond in the rough.

EK, not to beat my dead horse...... Jones shot 36.5% from 3 last year in the D-League. That doesn't suggest that he's really that great a shooter.

College isn't the same, but Clark was 46% from 3 last year there, making over 3 per game. The highest Curry ever shot? 44% one year. I'm pretty sure Clark would destroy Jones shooting, which is why he's the one who has been signed already (and probably had multiple offers).

Absolutley, Clark is an elite shooter, but just doesn't have the size or athleticism to play the two or the handle and passing ability to play point, which is why he went undrafted. I would like them to bring Jones to camp, he looked aggressive and I think he could develop into a decent player.

I've said it elsewhere - Jones has the more complete game than Clark. But Clark has the best individual skill (shooting), which for guys struggling to make a roster, is the key to sticking. Does Mario Chalmers really have a good game? No. But he can shoot the 3 pretty well. To me there's zero surprise that Miami was apparently interested in Clark. Picture him hanging out in the corners, where Wade and Lebron would penetrate and kick it out to him for open shots all game long...... that would be pretty scary, in all honesty.

A lot of bench players are specialists - that's what Clark is. Jones is a decent all-around player. That said, he looked pretty impressive playing for us in the summer league, and I think he'll get a shot to make the team. I've got no problem with that.....

I'm not sure where your getting your ideas from?

P.S. The stats came looking weird, the categories are a couple of slots ahead of the stats, with the ppg at the end.

They both shot the 3 real well though. Cam killed him at the ft line, Clark kills him with quickness. Both to me are excellent players.
