That's not his fault the Rangers were poorly run. A-Rod had a 155 OPS+, 25.2 WAR and an MVP. I'd say he was worth every penny. The Rangers sucked because they couldn't build a pitching staff for their lives (ERA over 5 all three years).

Jeter and Arod. If we’re using extensions then Longoria and Posey. This isn’t remotely similar to giving 30+ year old 1B 10 year contracts, which is why it’s baffling that people bring up Pujols and Miggy when ranting against Machado and Harper.
