And I believe the charges were dropped 4 days before the draft, yes?

I can't keep up with these college kids off the field stuff. We had too many issues and they all got magnified. That's what happens when you win 20+ games in row.

Thank God for FSU or Id be so mad!

Yeah - Joyner who we took in the 2nd last year was NOT the best CB on that FSU natty team. It was PJ Williams!

While what you're saying technically makes sense, if Fisher and Snead aren't really thinking about the future, why take a QB in the 3rd round at all? We already had Davis and Keenum to backup Foles. Would taking PJ Williams really make less sense? Both would be picked for the future, however its more likely a guy like Williams would contribute immediately, right?

They drank the dam Kool aid in the war room. They do it every year and love projects.

But i really do like the first 2 picks.

Yes, the DUI charges were dropped.

But, as was mentioned, that wasn't his only DUI offense. There was history there.

Btw, I'm not disagreeing with you guys regarding those players. I wish they would've addressed those other positions as well.

I'm just stating why I think the FO went the direction they did.

And, as Vita has mentioned, if it works out, are we really going to complain about where these guys were drafted if it gets the Rams to the playoffs?

I cried when the Angels won the Series. I cried the year the Rams won the Super Bowl. Not the game itself, but that playoff game against the Vikings, when no matter what the high-powered Vikes brought, the Rams brought more, and I realized this wasn't just a dream.

A little while ago while I was tooling around the kitchen, and blasting TNT, my mind went to next season, and TNT-powered drives, capped by scores and this fucking song, were dancing through my head, and it seemed so real, that, well...

Can we get the Rams stadium crew to play this song after every TNT TD?

That would be sweet.

to prove all these "experts" wrong.

I am so tired of reading how the Rams supposedly reached for every guy in their draft and how their best pick wasn't a position of need.

I want these OLmen to finally solidify the OL and I want TNT ( Todd N Tre - yes, that's what I'm calling them ) to blow up these
defenses with the holes this OL will provide.

I'm sooo tired of these "experts" thinking they know more about these players than the coaches and scouts that have spent 4 months and numerous hours examining every detailed facet of these players.

Time for the media "experts" to eat some crow.

Make it happen Rams cause I'm tired of hearing/reading about it.

You mean like a few years ago, when the Colts GM said "who the he'll is Mel Kiper" after Kiper ripped their picks?

Ya I can't believe some of these guys that have never played the game are experts all of a sudden!

It kills me every time John Clayton gives his opinion on football, the guy looks like Mr. Peabody!

SJ76, I think you have forgotten that you are outside of both negativity threads. Post #22 is getting close. You might want to venture over to one of those threads when you feel the need.

Couldn't respond earlier I was at work. Yes @SJ76 our secondary is fine for this year. No player taken in the 3rd round is a guaranteed star or savior. As @ANGELAKERAMS said Fisher is on the hot seat. Need to start winning now. Our Oline was in serious need. He's looking to run the ball. Just think if we had a little better Offense how much better our defense could have been with rest? Call it positive but I feel like finally there moving in the right direction. Jenkins had some very bad plays last year. I don't even know if he starts this year either. Love how Gaines has evolved.

Speaking of Bailey, I hope they got a babysitter this off-season for him so he would be available you know for starting day.

We drafted Joyner last year in the 2nd round. He wasn't even the best CB on that FSU team that won the natty. Now he's only really a nickel CB.

Just because our Oline was in serious need, doesn't mean these guys will work. Remember Rok Watkins..

Russell Wilson was taken in the 3rd round btw.

Williams wasn't even in consideration for being the top CB prospect in his class. I don't trust a guy who's complaints are that he takes plays off and that his best position in the NFL will be at safety and not CB. If teams thought he could be a shutdown corner, he would have gone in the first round despite his red flags, like Peters from Washington.

While Jenkins and Johnson are both free agents after this year, we're going to retain one of them. With Gaines, Joyner, Roberson and Mcgee in tail, there wasn't a need for CB this year. I'd rather over draft on our line, than hope one or two picks will fix it.
