I would pick Wisconsin to win this game only because years past it shows Nebraskas offense doesnt produce against just a decent defense and this year Nebraskas defense doesnt look very good so far.

However, my hesitant to pick Wiscosnin comes from this. Their schedule so far reminds me of the typical Wisconsin Badger early season hype. Much like that one season where they started 5-0 or 7-0 or something like that and then hit a tough stretch in their schedule and lost like 5 in a row.

I see it similar to that, Wiscosnin has a lot of hype and literally has played no one. Any of the teams they have played this year have a winning record? UNLV might be the worst team in their conference, Oregon State is atrocious, and the other two schools werent they FCS type?

It will be a close game IMO, Nebraska might have a shot at this one though just because Nebraska at least has seen a tough team in the Fuskies. Wisconsin encounters their first test of the season.

either way, good game it will be in Madison on Saturday night.

I respect your perspective. A major contributing factor in this game is that we have outrecruited Wisconsin. We bring more horses to the battle. We beat Wisky 27-13.

If you really think recruiting rankings are anywhere close to accurate, you are foolish. Yes, there are some elite athletes that everyone wants which are improtant to win recruiting battles for. Most of the time, though, recruting rankings fail to account for the intelligence of players and their ability to learn a scheme. As players like Scott Tolzien show, that is more important than being the best athlete out there.

Also, the fact that Bielema has publicly stated his dislike for recruiting services doesn't help our rankings. Check out the offers for Dan Voltz, and tells me that he belongs off any Top 100/150 list. He committed in March and he already had offers from Alabama, Auburn, Arizona, Stanford, and every major school in midwest (including Nebraska). Other elite schools (the LSUs, Florida schools, etc.) were interested. Today, he is rated as a low four star by most outlets. You can bet if he committed anywhere but Wisconsin he would be ranked as one of the top 25 recruits in the country.

With all due respect, ask your Ducks if that means nothing. Auburn and LSU brought more horses and you see how your Ducks fared.

I dispute the more horses argument. The only areas I see you guys ahead or potentially ahead of the Badgers are defensive line, special teams, and maybe linebacker. I see the Badgers ahead in receiving, Oline, and maybe the secondary. I don't think you will have much success throwing the ball, and I don't know how much success you have have defending the pass. If your defense doesn't show up and show up WELL you are going to get taken to the cleaners on D. If your offense can't establish some semblance of a passing threat we'll stack the box and make it hard to run.

I'm not saying you have no chance - I think you are somewhere between a coin flip and a 2:1 underdog - but you do not outclass us, and especially not in our stadium. If we played ten games in Madison, I'm confident we'd win more.

This game rests on what Wilson can do. This is the first decent defense he has faced all year and in a huge game. He will be put to the test and the outcome of this game is on how he answers.

This game rests on how many timeouts the offense can save for the defense. Anyone knows that.

Stars don't mean nothing, but it can be open to interpretation. I generally believe that it's about the Jim's and Joes and not the x's and o's because you can only go so far without the Jim's and Joes. Utah was a great example. It is believed that Urban Meyer was one of the best coaches. He could only take Utah to a level where they could beat lower tier BCS Bowl teams and no more, however, when he arrived to Florida he led them to the title.
As far as tomorrow game goes, I pray for a 17-16 Husker win, but it's my belief that the Badgers will win by 2 scores. Sigh!
