True but he probably doesn't want them to see all the nasty sites he's visited.

May not be a nasty site, 90% of all trojan infections come from legimate sites or hijacked google ads according to a recent study. I have seen E$PN, Foxsports, Sport Illustrated, PC Mag and even one of my security bulletin sites hijacked in the last year.
Nothing wrong with a MAC. If you don't want let me know, I'll take it.
just take it into best buy, they'd probably fix it for free, bro
Now why do you post that? I can get Ubuntu Linux to look like Windows XP or MAC OS. Or I can make it a combo of the two. Neither of them can do that.
I'd just trash it anyway...
LOL @ irule itching to dumpster dive
Best Buy couldn't fix a glass of water.
Crap. I meant to quote this for the above post about Best Buy.
That made no sense. I fail(ed)
he said he was worried about finding a job... I think he would make a fantastic pawn shop owner
My niece took her laptop to Best Buy after she got a trojan infection. All they did was run MSCONFIG and put it in minimal start up. Cost her over $100. Of course her uncle fixed it for her free of charge.
Damn, that sucks. I had some blue shield pop up at the bottom of my screen one time. I clicked on it (guess that's where I messed up) and I believe it asked me to register for something. I exited out, but whenever I would go to a website, it would pop back up and not let me look at anything. It WOULD NOT go away for anything. I had to do a system restore.
