Or as a fan of the team he might be a tad bit over critical as we Skins fans tend to be when it comes to a guy like Rak. Many Skins fans tend to think that Rak didnt live up to what was expected and couldnt wait to see him gone.

Very true too. Taking him at face value, he seems to know Scherff better than any of us. But we don't know whether he's got an axe to grind with either. However, he does echo what a lot respected commentators like Cosell say about him. Still, this is really up to Scot. Let's trust him to make the right call. I'd love to see him trade down with the Giants, take Scherff and get an extra pick either in the second round this year or a first next year.
