To what end? Get in the playoffs so we can get rung up in the first round? Romo would be rusty if he could even come back. Play hard, don't try to tank or anything like that, but this just isnt' our year.

I Don't want to make the playoffs either, but I do want to see this team play hard and compete weak to week. I'd like to see guys like Hardy Sit out so we can see what guys like Gregory have. At this point Hardy is stunting Gregory's growth. I think Manster is right we could win this division. I don't want to do that as a 7-9 team, and then get bounced in the first round. If we win the division the best draft pick we can get is 21. To me that hurts this team a lot. It was great beating the Skins though.

Well the game Stephen McGee won vs the Eagles- may have cost us Patrick Peterson. It seems like that was a coin flip for that pick because of records. Since we won we picked 9 th I think. Tyron Smith was a pretty good option at 9.

If they could just end games at 59 minutes, they would have 4 more wins. Four losses this season when they have the lead with a minute in the game.

If you look at the last few drafts, the guys the Cowboys picked at the mid-bottom of the 1st round would all be top 10 picks if those drafts were redrafted. I'd feel confident wherever we were choosing. Being at the top does not guarantee success, Ryan Leaf, Tim Couch, JaMarcus Russell, etc

If we play that game I guarantee I could list more great players in the top 16 of the 1st round then they bottom 16. Pick high increases you chance at getting the player you want and the best talent. Ultimately its still a crap shot

NFL.com Draft 2015 - NFL Draft History: Full Draft Year going to have to respectfully dis agree with you. I just looked all the way back to 2005 It is way more oh my God players coming out of the top half of the 1st round at all postions, then the bottom half (17-32). There were good players from top to bottom. There were some steals late, but most of the Elite players at 1st gaze look to come out of that top 16. As a side note The 2011 1st round drafts was loaded. The 2013 1st round not so much. I posted a link look for yourself. I'd say it's closer to 65/35 maybe 60/40. 50/50 no way.

I don't know man. That game sucked so bad last- the quality of football that is. As far as DEz catch, I never saw a good angle. I thought Cassell did pretty decent. Our defense looked like a team that had 10 days off. They were fast. I thought the refs helped us out on the Dez penalties. Maybe it was makeup calls. I will say the Skins had some cool rollout plays.
