I have an iphone, and I just completely reset it so it would stop messing up. It works perfect now. I just want something bigger and different. Plus the G3s specs seem to be better. Screw apple lol

Well, I decided I would just take a chance and order through Apple and then return the AT&T phone when it arrived. But then Apple couldn't verify I was eligible for an upgrade, so that killed that.


BUT THEN, yesterday I noticed AT&T updated their delivery times and I'm supposed to have my phone on Friday now after all. The wifes 6+ is still a late October delivery though. But her phone works, mine is broken so I need a new one now.

I've seen that ad. While most of it is true, it's not a fair comparison. battery stats? How about a better battery in the 6+. NFC? Great, now use it to pay for literally anything on the Samsung. NFC was used for photo sharing and that is it. the 6+ uses bluetooth 4 for faster and better sharing/pairing.

Yes, the Samsung phones are the reason Apple made a larger phone and I love em for that. I like Samsung products, don't like Android OS. Glad they forced the larger screen issue as I'm old now and can't see as well

And i've known plenty of people with the exact opposite experiences. Neither is superior. Just what fits you better from an OS standpoint and luck one way or another.

I do think Apple needs to tighten up in the innovation dept. though. Apple used to be on the leading edge of innovation in the smart phone race, but is being overtaken by companies like LG and Samsung.

True, but that happens when you have a one vs many situation. When the competition can spam all sorts of products out there, they are bound to reveal new innovations first. But how well does it work? You can have a larger screen, but if your digitizer is crap then you just annoy people. The Galaxy and Note lines are the only non-Apple I would consider. I was close to getting the S5 when the apple 5S came out without anything worthy of re-upping for. There will be 100 new Android phones between now and the next Apple phone, and I'm sure some of them will claim to be the first to have something but the phone sales overall will suck because the implementation isn't there.

That isn't to say that Apple is the only one that can do anything, they aren't. But most of the time in technology when you rush to be first, you end up doing production QA for everyone else

verizons delivery times are all over as well, mine comes the 19th as well

How is this for annoying? They shipped my phone two days ago from Ft Worth. It arrived in Ft Worth yesterday. Stating "requested future delivery". I could be at FedEx in Ft Worth in 30 minutes, too bad they won't give me my phone early

JuSt got our i6s. The activation process is sweet. Backup to iCloud. Call to activate the new phone. Everything comes down to the new phone. All apps, passwords, settings... Sweet!
