I hate this part of the season.

Nothing is taking place basically until the year end championships and then 2 months without tennis following that until the Aussie Open:gaah:

Well, the Asian swing thus far appears to be dead, coupled with what resembles a crowd at these events (Seoul and Tokyo). The WTA should never have killed the indoor Euro season, replacing it with Asia. So, agreed, I'm only looking forward to the YEC next month. However, for me the NBA starts next month (preseason) and the NFL already is in play, so my sports viewing continues unabated. I'm in seventh heaven in January (my favorite month on the tennis schedule) for all players are excited and prepped to start the new season in Aussie land and NZ, where attendance is good, the NFL is in post-season and the NBA is in full swing. If I cared for college sports, it would be even better. However, I don't.

At least they moved the YEC up earlier by a few weeks.

Man 1 month away from meaningful tennis.

Since the US Open, Men's tennis has been awful.

The only good match I saw was Wawrinka/Fed in the semis of the YEC

I have not watched much. This is the time of year for practicing and training. January through August is for playing and watching. I watch football from September through January

I concur.

Seasons are good. Anything 24-7 gets tiring.

This is the time for NFL. after Super Bowl I'll get more into NHL.

I'll watch any tennis that comes on (and there is a lot). I like F1 racing too but am glad there's an off season this time of year because it gets hard to squeeze in the race before NFL begins....
