Thanks, Josh Gordon. Thanks.

Won 2nd place last season and pick 13th too. Gotta love it.

Unless I want to keep Decker, Jeffrey, or Chris Johnson...or Vereen?

No, it's Kaepernick. Damnit.

So, who will be available with the 27th pick?

If your keeper means you lose pick 13, I wouldn't keep anybody. You'll probably get Kaeps back if you don't get somebody better.

If you have to keep one, for me it would be between Alshon and an underappreciated CJ1K, but obviously Alshon has the brighter future so that's your guy.

No snake draft?

I don't think I would keep anyone if I had to give up my 1st round pick.

im with the Boys above you should supply more info with the Keeper question

going in cold i also say keep Alshon with Vereen next but honestly we need to know the keeper cost/s to answer wisely

Can you be a little more specific with the keeper conditions?

If it's just one and you have to take it, then keep Jeffrey. If you still want Kaepernick, you'll be able to get him in the middle rounds. In my opinion, you're making a HUGE mistake if you keep Kaepernick.

If your keeper pick is your 1st round pick, then don't take anyone.

Money league. Been in this league for 10 years. Won it 3 times, 2nd another 3 times (dominated). Every team has to keep 1 guy. The draft then starts from worst to first. I pick 13th as I got 2nd last season. It's a snake draft, of course.

Here was my championship game lineup from last season

Kaepernick
Chris Johnson
Gordon
Jeffrey
Decker
Gates
Novak
Chiefs D

Bench is

Alex Smith
Shonn Greene
TRich
Todman
Vereen
Amendola

Now you see my dilemma. The obvious keeper was Gordon. However, that idiot screwed me. Remember, this is 14 teams...not 12. It's a whole different dynamic.

I really see no other option besides Kaepernick.

if 14 teams keep 1 then in my opinion your 1st pick at 13 should theoretically be the 27th best player if we list the 14 keepers inside the top 27 picks

and therefore i wouldnt keep anyone because none of those players listed is in the top 27

maybe Alshon is very close but certainly not Kap

Still Jeffrey.

But get keep kaep and his under 200 passing per game, and he looks sharp pre season.

Why do people need qbs. I can name 14 I'd want over keep much less use a keeper on him

I think this just goes to show people (or it should) just how different the dynamic is from 12 to 14 team leagues.

With 14 teams your roster will be sparse. It's a chess match. It's matchups. It's a lot of second guessing. I can keep Alshon and then take Kaep with the next pick or 2. Or keep Kaep and probably take Alshon with the next pick or 2. It's a zero sum gain.

Do I think Kaep will produce more than a guy like Romo or Wilson? Yes. By a lot.

I'm not getting a stud RB. That ship has sailed.

Wow I mean if you think of keep that way go for it, but nothing suggests that will happen. I've played 14 and 16 team leagues, still say you can get comparable qb production much later.

I've got Kaepernick rated #5 on my board.

if you love Kap go for it but i would rather have Romo that you mentioned and certainly i would never take Kap at pick 27 which is what your pick 13 essentially is

Wow, based on what?

His anemic passing numbers last season? I'm honestly curious?

I think you are way high on Kaep.

ADP has him outside the top 10 QBs pretty much everywhere. He has been going past the 10th round in most 12 team drafts I have down. Might he go sooner in a 14 teamer, sure. But not second round.

Alshon Jeffrey is the only player on your roster worthy of considering in the top 30 and I do believe he would be gone by the time you pick at 27, so it is not a zero sum game.

You may have Kaep as the 5th best QB, but you are about the only one. Do yourself a favor and look to draft him in round 5 or 6. Your team will be a lot better for it.
