lol. I mean i think hes a good qb, and was definitively the best available. BUt 4-22 is also undeniable

He’s a good QB but I’m so tired of the narrative he’s God’s gift to the position. His stats are good but he failed under bright lights and sadly for Vikings fans he has and will again

cousins puts up numbers and performs. But jsut to play devils advocate. Cousins is like 4-22 against winning teams, thats not a small sample size. He beats up badly on bad competition. Not so good against the better ones.

Wouldn’t that be the record of a QB on 8-8 teams? Look at the years where NO and the Chargers have been .500. Would you like to bet what their records are against winning teams?

were talking about 26 games, two different teams. And yes part of the reason those teams are 8-8, would be because of not beating winning competition. 1 win against a winning team, flips those seasons to winning seasons

You fail to see the logic in a .500 team beating bad teams and losing to good teams?

you fail to see that eventually teams need to step up and win, if your 8-8 your competitive. you can beat a winning team.........especially with an "elite" qb

Low hanging fruit. Takes an entire team to win but if fits the narrative you like so go with it. In general the Reskins under Cousin's, Smith etc. etc. have not faired well.

Exactly...the team needs to step up. You are seeing now, we are barely a .500 team when healthy, and we have far more talent this season. It is amazing that KC got us to .500.

You were saying? Everyone is calling Minnesota dumb for the signing now.

To be sure, it has been a misfit in Minnesota. Their HC want to be a running team, their OC's have insisted on primarily throwing the ball. Signing Kirk Cousins to hand the ball off, has thus far, been a mistake. To me (outsider looking in) they have to get the ball to their two outside receivers more and run as a compliment to that effort. Can Kirk deliver in a pass first offense, time will tell, and that depends upon a 180° turn-a-round in their HC's philosophy.

Here is an idea...do what works. I remember a single roll out by Minnesota last night. It was successful because the pressure up the middle got to KC all night.

No doubt, but why sign a guy to an 84 million fully guaranteed contract if the intent is in handing the ball off? Keenum did that. Hell, either of us would take a lot less to do that. Right now it's a misfit, and the biggest casualty is Kirk, who's being branded as mentioned before.

It depends on what is meant. Brady and Brees have never thrown as often as KC has been. I also expected some growing pains, especially with that OL. What I don’t get is KC choosing to look at Rudolph over Thielen...poor decision.
