I HAD THE SHITTIEST FATHERS DAY EVER

Saturday evening, my Stepdad fell off a ladder 16 feet up onto concrete. Broken hip, elbow, foot, back, and wrist. He is pretty messed up. To top it all, he had a heart attack in the early hours on sunday morning. They had to put a stint in his heart, and fortunately all blockage was relieved. He is still in the I.C.U., awaiting multiple surgeries and catscans.

I probably won't be posting too much as I have to not only be there for my mom, but run her company as well. I probably will pop in when I need to get my mind off things.

I've never been too much of a religous man, but I will take any prayers that we can get right now. Everybody take care and make sure you take time to love those close to you.

Thanks everybody. Everything is as stable as it could be right now, and he is getting the sleep he needs. The whole family got some good rest. I know because i wouldn't sleep until they did. It made me feel good to hear him tell a nurse to,"Get the fuck away from me!" That's a good sign of life and fighting spirit in my family. Still waiting on the first of three major corrective surgeries. Could be a day. Could be a week. I'm just happy he is alive and surounded by excellent doctors.
