That's not fair...he also proved that the people judging that science fair have no fucking clue what science is. And also that his sister has a stronger arm than he does.
He certainly didn't factor in evidence like Aaron Rodgers cheating by over inflating balls if he can get away with it, I suspect Rodgers does it to prevent throwing the ball out of the stadium.

He also did not factor in that the Colts had illegal equipment on the sideline or the fact that it was a setup from the get go.

I don't understand why this is news. A 10-year-old kid won a science fair by proving Tom Brady is a cheater The kid's premise is he hates brady therefore he wants to prove Brady cheated, but he only proves that he hates Brady. Whoever wrote the article took slander and turned it into libel...

Just once, I'd like to see someone like Brady turn on a kids'sparents and sue the dogshit out of them. Defending themselves would bankrupt them and if they lost, it would be devestating. Just kill slander and libel and once this was done, go full bore after the newspaper or network that made it a headline. His lawyer has a real incentive to win because he gets 50% of whatever he wins in court.

Like someone else said, go after the project judges and put the wood to them too.

No media outlet would ever take any story lightly again or be quick to attempt to embarrass anyone publicly.

Might take 8-10 years to finish but it would be pure hell for the idiots that thought that they might be a bit funny.

Since it's really not about the money, give the lawyer 100% so it gets done right.

I have no problem with an article on this project. But the article should be focused on the ridiculesness of the project be titled "Look how stupid this kid and science fair judges are"

Anybody else shocked his small handed, weak gripped sister threw a soft football farther than an inflated one?

Not gonna bag on a 10year old, the Kentucky science fair judges however... Total missed opportunity to delve into:

P = ρ R T

Speaking of which, the league has yet to release the data they accumulated the following year. Wonder why....

There was never any data collected. All they did was verify that the procedures were followed.

Subsection g;

If results of testing show that the ball pressure varies with temperature, all test results will be destroyed.

Hope not - maybe the next commissioner will release the data. You can bet Goodell would have already released it if it fit his narrative. There's a $30M/yr salary at stake in keeping it under wraps.

The reason that no data was released is becausethe league spent several million dollars having tests run by scientists at MIT and Stanford University. Machines that throw footballs were used in perfect conditions, cool and freezing temperatures. Supposedly moire than 10,000 tests were conducted in both schools. The balls were inflated to 14 PSI, 13.5 PSI, 13 PSI, 12.5 PSI and 11.5 PSI. The tests showed accoringto an unnamed source that higher the inflation rate the further the ball flew regardless of temperature. They also show variable wobbling as the pressure of the ball became less.

Releasing this information would have done two things:

1. Would have made the leagues charges against the Patriots and Tom Brady negligible and the league would have been in the position to return the fine and the Patriots draft choice. It would make the league a perfect target for a monster lawsuit in which their own studies would have been the silver bullet.

2. By releasing the information the league would have to declare that if their accusations were true the Tom Brady was stronerand more accurate than any machine available. Not only is he the GOAT, he is most likely the second coming of Jesus Christ.

When he retires, Brady will have his legal team file the lawsuits against the league, Goodell and 31 owners. See how quick the truth comes out and the league's stance on a stupid attempt to shutdown a legend and a dynasty becomes known. How long do you think it will take jerry Jones to have Goodell deposited in the Marianas Trench?

Did you forget one (one, not the only) of the motives for deflating balls was to improve the grip and reduce fumbles. There was a connection asserted between the Patriots being best in the league at not fumbling and deflated balls. Improved passing wasn't the only assumption.

And where in there does it say the league is going to do anything with that information? Or even retain it? The league flat out said they weren’t doing anything with the numbers and were just verifying the procedure was being followed. They never had any intention of studying or using those numbers in any meaningful way.

During the spring of 2015 they implied changes in pressure reading procedures would include analyzing data. After the 2015 season requests for results were made and that's when the league came out with the notion that the action was purely procedural and there was not intention to keep or analyze the data.

When the was data collected, they swept it under the rug. It's a rudimentary equation, you could get results in minutes with known game-time air density, temperature. They could have released cooked the numbers and been eviscerated by the scientific community, or released numbers that tracked the ideal gas law and been eviscerated by sports media. They had no choice but to hide behind the "procedures" fig leaf.
