IMO it's about respect. We all know the long rivalry between these two but I could actually see these guys on a porch in their golden years having a beer together and laughing about the days gone past.

This is a function of the coaching fraternity. I would imagine that good coaches like Carroll get a little antsy whey they see good coaches like Harbaugh being let go.

There is a lot of respect towards your team from Seahawk fans and I am certain those who work for the Seahawks in any capacity feel the same.
Of course we remain bitter enemies but that is another subject.
The last few years the biggest game on the schedule for this season ticket holder was when you Santa Claran's came to town. The most concerning was having the team go on the road to Candlestick.
I hope we can maintain our respectful hatred towards each other's ball clubs as it added gobs to the sport we love to watch, root for, and are attached to.

They don't necessarily like each other.... But they respect each other as coaches... Both are good coaches... To me it's crazy to think a coach that leads a team too 3 NFC title games and a Super Bowl is on the hot seat in any way shape or form... That is crazy #@$^ right there...

Its the NFL. Win a SB or get fired. Remember a few years ago Marty Shottenheimer went 14-2 and got fired. Fuck, not much wiggle room there for a coach.

Harbaugh turned this franchise around instantly ... There is no way this is a performance based decision .... Not a chance ... The guy has won what ... 6 playoff games in 3 years .... Super Bowl appearance ...
