Maybe it's just me but the Husker board is the last place to be discussing and arguing politics. This election has torn people apart and it's ridiculous.

I think that damn thread should be deleted. 90% of the posts on this board are going into that thread and have nothing to do with Nebraska Football.

I actually think it's important to discuss politics and other difficult issues with people you know and respect as people. It's really easy to lob insults and allow the dialogue to deteriorate into crap if people don't know or care about the people they are talking to. I don't agree with @Brasky on a wide variety of political issues, but I'm not going to resort to calling him a bleeding heart libtard because I know he's a good guy, and that forces me to debate the issues (a lot like the video @iruletheskool posted in the other thread).
