My cousin just had one built (not done yet) we still have to stain the inside. He paid around 8,000 for the boat. But it is a monster.. HUGE for a Dory.

Paid 2000 for the glass and paint...

Not sure what he paid for the trailer.

so 10k for a finished boat?

How big are they? beam?

I'll post up some pics on Sunday. Heading out to the flathead waters tomorrow, hoping to land something to brag about. If not, the channel cats are hitting now, so a stringer of 7 to 20 pounders would make my day too.

what do you mean when you say beam? I have never owned a dory. Dad has one and cousin has had a few. Nothin like this one he is getting ready though....

Try to take pics next time I get down to his garage.

But yeah. Its paid for. Lots of small things we have to do ourselves. Launch bar, fuel tank, anchor mount, chairs, wheel, all that kinda stuff

My buddy and I build a few boats. Smaller boats though. 14 foot and under so far.

I would guess 7 to 7 n a half ft. maybe more. I will ask him and get an actual length for you.

If this pic helps give you dimensions, his is a bit bigger than this Dory...

Beautiful boats Edisto. I wouldn't mind buying one someday. how much for a 14'?

depends on how you want it. But I would give you a ballpark of around $3500-$4500. Like I said, it just depends on the finish and the layout.
