The thing I like, is he's not a wasted roster spot. As the 6th D, you can survive for 5 minutes without him, so he's the perfect fighter.

I don't get what point your trying to make. Engelland has gone up against the top fighters in the league, I don't recall him losing yet, and he's had two highlight real fight-ending punches. Somehow two draws negates all of that?

Not to speak for Kenny, but I believe he's referring to the title and the tone of the original post. Kenny will take the "bet" that Engelland won't beat up everybody's "guy". While Engelland is a tough SOB, he's had two draws.....so assertion #1 by the OP is wrong in that Engelland "beats the living hell out of everyone who steps to him". Also, he's only knocked out 2 of the fighters in the 10 fights he's had this year. Although he's knocking guys out at an impressive 20% clip, that hardly qualifies as "usually".....so assertion #2 by the OP is wrong as well.

Engelland is a tough customer and an awesome #6 defenseman though, of that there is no argument from me. Hell, I'd take him as a #5 defenseman on my team
