Nebraska had 2 true freshman pitch the entire game on Monday's 4-1 win. 6 foot 8 inch Tom Lemke started the game and threw 5 shutout innings allowing only 5 hits and striking out 6. Kurt Giller came in in the 6th and allowed 1 run off 5 hits. Both pitchers only walked a total of 2 batters.

Vinnie here is your stat. Nebraska left 7 guys on base. They also went 6-16 with guys on base and 6-12 with guys in scoring position. The team is now hitting over .200 in both of those stats on the season.
