Not necessarily. Possibility to plea down or something, and if there is jail time they could defer it to after the season. No idea if any of that will matter though. Nothing from the AD yet except for "we know something happened."

8 years is a long time. 10 years in Nebraska and his previous is thrown out.

I'm sure that's what Joseph Lewis's coaches that came with him on the visit are concerned about.

Best we can hope for in his case is he gets a few court ordered counseling sessions, a half a year of probation and his license taken away.

It takes 4 DUI's for jail time in Nebraska.

I learned after my first and only. That was 8 years ago. That shit is NOT worth it.

I got off easy as fuck though. 10 days house arrest, 6 month license revocation.

My biggest concern with this situation is that it might hurt recruiting. What will the parents of the recruits think of this?

On the flip side of things, as Williams adds more DUI's to his record he becomes less appealing for other programs to try to take him away from us. So maybe we'll have him for life.
