#2 Michigan vs #3 Miami

#5 Alaska vs #6 Ferris

Also fourth place Western Michigan is in action tonight. Could see some shuffling in the top spots. I want to see Michigan up there at number one, and I've really been rooting for Ferris lately. Alaska is damn good (I believe without the travel they could be in the top slot) so they have their work cut out for them. #1 Notre Dame sits idle today, so Michigan or Miami could pass them.

Go Blue!

Does everybody hate Notre Dame in this league?

lol.... CCHA rivalries are a little different. Notre Dame doesn't have the same success and aura in hockey as they do in football, so there isn't that same hate. MSU-U of M games are arguably the most intense in college sports, I've been told by football fans after attending games at Yost that the atmosphere at the games blows away anything in basketball or football. U of M and Ohio State is still a good rivalry too, but it's a little more one sided. Michigan has been the cream of the crop in the CCHA for a long time, and Ohio State has been lagging behind.

I was making fun of the fact that you had a bunch of schools in 3 states, and then Alaska. :D

Ha, good movie (remember my old avatar?).

Ferris is a cool little school about an hour north of me. I think there's a 6-1 ratio of guys to girls, and there is really nothing to do in Big Rapids aside from watch hockey, ice fish, and drink beer. For a school it's size, they really know how to party up there, and they have had some success with hockey as well. I believe Kunitz set a bunch of CCHA records up there, but other than that they get by on hard work, defense, hitting, and smarts... no Jack Johnsons knocking down the door to get in to FSU.
