Pablo Sandoval is looking for a 6-year contract with the Giants. Based on his solid 7-year record, .294 /.346 /.465, $100 mill+ should be in the bag, a nice Howard-like contract.

Pablo is a fat guy who is out of shape. His power numbers are going downhill. Buyer beware! A 3 year contract should be the max. Someone will overpay.

Yeah, his power is not mind blowing. 2 dozen doubles and 16 HRs in '14. Never had more than 25 homers. Last year's numbers, .279/.324/.415 may only mean a 4 year, $50 mil payday at the most. He's making $8 mil now. SF should keep him. He's only 28.

Sounds like just the type of guy braindead will sign. He is probably getting a stiffy just knowing the guy is available.

Looks like Red Sox win big today. Possibly 5 years $90M each for Pablo and Hanley according to rumor.

Holy shit, Boston is overloaded with outfielders including Victorino. I see the front office getting sentimental and making the 34-year old (Nov.) an offer.

Speaking of the red sox signing Ramirez and Pablo Hanley Ramirez signs with Boston Red Sox; is it a prelude to Cole Hamels for Xander Bogaerts trade? | NJ.com

My question is why do people keep suggesting the Phillies want to convert Asche to a leftfielder? I like him as a young thirdbaseman but when you stick him in left I get way less excited. Shouldn't he prove he can hit a little better before they even consider that? Or are they just talking about stashing him there until Utley is gone, then moving him to second?

Hanley is being converted to a left fielder. Bogey stays at short.
