Can Jordan Reed get up to speed? | Comcast SportsNet Washington

i dont think we see a lot of him during the 1st half of the year . i hope he can pick up the offense fast but i wont "expect it " . he could be a very big weapon for us

Skinsdad... hedging my bet here a little. But i think with this guy, we see a little two TE set run out of the offense and he starts contributing around week six. the down side is that neither Reed or Davis are good blocking TEs, so if they are on the field at the same time, it kind of tips it off that its likely a pass play.

Depends a little on Fred Davis' health. I think Reed is a unique weapon that could get around 20 or so catches his rookie year and play a good role. And that number could spike depending on Davis being 100%.

I think they are excited to have Reed but really aren't anxious to use him often this year.
I think they want to see if Paul will step up...I can only see Reed excelling in Stacks and Bunch formations at this point...
he's just not ready yet to be a key part, IMO - 16 catches 2 TDs

paul should be more comfortable but reed has played more te in his college career

it can go either way

now if paul can catch passes consistently and if reed shows promise , then maybe next season we could let davis walk if needs be

a big "if "

I think he will get 1,500 yards and 10 TDs.

I think that Kyle will have a couple of specific plays that will target Reed in a mismatch with LBs for the first 6 games or so. As the season goes on, I expect him to see more playing time as a hybrid/Hback type. I don't ever see him lining up as a traditional TE this year. I predict 20+ receptions for 300+ yds and 4 TDs.
